Māpua Heights Cottage 

Interior:

  • two bedrooms and a light and warm feel.

  • sleeps a family of four comfortably.

  • open plan kitchen/dining - fully-equipped: electric oven and stove-top, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cooking utensils, etc.

  • living area: comfortable sofas, high definition TV and DVD player.

  • a pot-belly stove keeps the whole cottage cosy in the winter; a sturdy guard is provided

  • oil column heaters and pedestal fan available

  • the main bedroom: queen-size bed and plenty of wardrobe space

  • smaller second bedroom: twin beds (king singles)

  • port-a-cot and high chair also available

  • stylish bathroom: has a lovely wooden vanity, shower over a bath and washing machine.

Surroundings:

  • Extensive native planting and a large area of regenerating bush

  • an abundance of native birds: tui, fantail, silvereye and at certain times of year bellbird, shining cuckoo and a New Zealand falcon

  • quail on your lawn

  • glow-worms in our gully - Ken is happy to be your guide!

  • deer and sheep graze our paddocks - let us introduce you.
